Job Description for Article Assistant

I. Opportunities of learning

A. Direct Tax

·        Filing of Income Tax Returns of various assesses.

·        Calculation of Income Tax including Minimum Alternate Tax

·        Involved in Preparing and filing Tax Audit Report of various assesses

·        File TDS Returns for various entities including companies

·        Assist in preparing replies to the Income Tax Department relating to Notices, preparing Advisory Notes; services for various queries of clients relating to Income Tax Act, 1961.

B.  Statutory Audit

·        Statutory Audit as per Companies Act, 2013 ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards, Statement of Auditing Standards, and other laws.

·        Auditing financial statements. Reviewing and verifying the accuracy and completeness of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, etc.). 

·        Assessing Internal Controls. Evaluating the effectiveness of a company's internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

·        Tax Audit under Income Tax Act, 1961.

·        Compliance as prescribed by SEBI.

II. Educational Qualification:

·        CA Intermediate Course.

III. Required skills

·        Proficiency in MS Office, Tally.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present audit findings and recommendations.

·        Should possess good knowledge of accounting standards, various guidance notes issued by the ICAI from time to time.

·        Should be keen towards learning Accountancy including Finalization and Consolidation as per Accounting Standards and Companies Act 2013.
