Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Article Trainee at K N Prabhashankar & Co., located in Bengaluru. The Article Trainee will be responsible for assisting in auditing and accounting assignments, preparing financial statements, performing tax computations and filings, and conducting thorough research to support compliance with current regulations. The role also involves liaising with clients, maintaining proper documentation, and gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting and auditing practices under the guidance of senior team members.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting principles, Financial Reporting, and Auditing procedures
- Proficiency in Taxation practices and compliance requirements
- Understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and standards relevant to the profession
- Proficiency in using accounting software and financial tools
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to handle data with accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent discipline (or pursuing Chartered Accountancy)
- Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic tasks
