Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for an Article Trainee. The role involves assisting in the preparation and filing of Income Tax and GST returns, conducting audits, and managing compliance tasks. The Article Trainee will also engage in research, drafting case studies, and preparing reports as part of various assurance and litigation assignments. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while building expertise in the field of taxation and auditing.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Income Tax, GST, and financial principles
- Proficiency in accounting and auditing processes
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and time-sensitive environment
- Enrollment in a Chartered Accountancy course (preferred but not mandatory)
- Prior internship or relevant work experience in chartered accountancy firms (desirable but not required)
