Role Description The Article Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The trainee will support audit, accounting, taxation, and compliance assignments under the supervision of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities may include preparing working papers, assisting in financial statement reviews, maintaining records, drafting basic reports, and supporting client communication with accurate information and documentation. The role involves learning applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards, participating in internal training, and contributing to process improvement. Article Trainees are expected to maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation and reports.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, auditing concepts, and taxation (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with digital records and data.
• Ability to work full time on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple tasks, and meet timelines under supervision.
• Professional attitude, integrity, and willingness to learn through structured training and practical exposure.
• Enrollment in or completion of a relevant professional course (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory.
