Article Trainee - Indirect Tax (Chennai)

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an Article Trainee specializing in Indirect Tax. Responsibilities include assisting in GST compliance, conducting research on indirect tax laws, analyzing tax implications, drafting tax deliverables, and supporting the team with client advisory and consultation services. The trainee will also collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure accuracy and compliance in indirect tax-related projects.

• Knowledge of GST regulations, indirect tax laws, and compliance procedures
• Basic understanding of audit processes and tax advisory functions
• Proficiency in research, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports and interacting with clients
• Proficiency in office productivity tools such as MS Excel and Word
• A strong commitment to learning and professional growth
• Pursuing CA or relevant professional qualification (mandatory); prior internship experience in a tax or financial advisory firm is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and handle deadlines in a fast-paced environment
