Role Description The Article Trainee will support the firm's professional team in delivering accounting, audit, tax, and consultancy services to clients. Daily activities may include assisting in bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, supporting statutory and tax audits, and working on tax returns and compliance documentation. The role also involves conducting basic research on accounting standards, tax regulations, and professional guidance, and helping prepare working papers, reports, and client communication. The trainee will collaborate with senior team members, follow firm methodologies, and maintain accurate documentation and records. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring regular office attendance and client visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic taxation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting software; comfort with digital tools and documentation.
• Good analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large sets of financial data.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare working papers and simple reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a professional team, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Pursuing or having completed relevant professional studies (e.g., CA articleship eligibility) or a degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• High level of integrity, willingness to learn, and openness to guidance and feedback.
• Familiarity with Indian accounting and tax environment is an advantage.
