Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Article Trainee/CA-Drop out role based in Gurugram. The Article Trainee will assist in audits, tax filings, and preparation of financial statements under the supervision of senior team members. Responsibilities include supporting GST and direct tax compliance, working on basic valuation and due diligence assignments, assisting in preparation of management reports, and maintaining accurate working papers and documentation. The role also involves coordinating with clients for data collection, helping in accounts outsourcing engagements, and supporting business setup and regulatory filings. The Article Trainee will be encouraged to learn professional standards, apply accounting and tax concepts in practice, and contribute to team deliverables within defined timelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in accounting, finance, and taxation concepts, with the ability to apply them in practical assignments.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic accounting software; familiarity with GST and income tax utilities is an advantage.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in working papers and reports.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment, manage multiple tasks, and follow professional ethics and confidentiality standards.
  • Enrollment in CA/CS/CMA or a relevant commerce degree (B.Com or equivalent) preferred; prior internship experience in a CA or consulting firm is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and build a long-term career in audit, tax, and advisory services.
  • Able to understand MIS, Month closing, Projections and budgeting
