Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Art Gallerist to manage gallery operations, promote artists and artworks, and deliver an exceptional experience to collectors, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, an understanding of contemporary and traditional art, and the ability to drive sales and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:Gallery Operations
- Manage day-to-day gallery operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Curate and organize exhibitions, art shows, and private viewings.
- Coordinate artwork installation, inventory management, and display arrangements.
Sales & Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with collectors, artists, interior designers, architects, and art enthusiasts.
- Promote and sell artworks to individual and corporate clients.
- Handle client inquiries, pricing discussions, negotiations, and sales closures.
- Maintain records of sales, artwork details, and customer interactions.
Artist & Exhibition Coordination
- Collaborate with artists regarding exhibitions, commissions, and artwork presentations.
- Identify emerging artists and market trends.
- Assist in planning exhibition calendars and promotional activities.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Support marketing initiatives through social media, events, and networking.
- Coordinate gallery events, launches, and art fairs.
- Build brand visibility and audience engagement for the gallery.
Market Research & Reporting
- Monitor art market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Prepare sales reports, visitor feedback, and exhibition performance reports.
