Job Role: Art Director

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Here's what we hope you can do:

  • Most of your time will be spent developing the visual side of campaigns, taking a brief and figuring out what it should actually look like, feel like, and say across the formats that matter. T

  • Great copy-AD partnerships are rarer than they should be. We've been lucky enough to have a few of them, and that's the dynamic we're looking for. Beyond that creative partnership, you'll work across strategy, production, and account teams, which means you'll need to be someone who can hold your own in a room full of different agendas without losing the idea.

  • You'll also be on set. Whether that's a photography shoot or a film production, you'll be the person making sure what ends up on camera matches what was in your head during the concept stage, casting direction, set feel, the moment when something isn't working and you need to call it.

  • Presentations are part of this too. You'll need to be able to walk clients and stakeholders through the work, not just show it, but actually sell it in a way that makes them believe in it. The ACD won't always be in the room with you, and when they're not, the work needs someone who can defend it clearly and confidently.

What we're looking for

  • 2-4 years of experience in advertising, design, or a creative agency environment, with a portfolio of work that shows conceptual range and strong visual execution.

  • A strong conceptual mind, you can move from insight to big idea and know how to bring that idea to life visually across platforms.

  • Hands-on fluency with Adobe Creative Suite; motion and video direction experience is a strong plus.

  • Comfortable owning a project from brief to final including managing your own time, flagging blockers, and delivering without needing constant check-ins.

  • A collaborative working style, you work well with writers, strategists, and producers, and you give and receive feedback generously.

Where this role sits in our team:

You'll report into an ACD. That means you're two levels from the top of the creative structure, close enough to be involved in shaping creative direction, but this isn't a leadership role yet. Think of it as the place where you build the confidence and the track record that gets you there. The expectation is that you're running your projects without needing constant steering, contributing ideas that make the work better, and beginning to develop the voice that a Senior Art Director needs to have.
