Job Summary
We're looking for an Art Director who can lead a squad of graphic designers and video editors, build bold concepts, and drive visual direction for the brand. This role blends hands-on creative thinking with leadership. You'll elevate the team's output across campaigns, social, performance ads, AI-driven visuals, and video content.
You must be comfortable working fast, working smart, and pushing creative boundaries with AI tools, motion, and storytelling.
Responsibilities
Creative Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and upskill a team of graphic designers and video editors.
- Review and refine all creative outputs to maintain a high bar of quality and brand consistency.
- Translate briefs into clear creative directions that the team can execute with confidence.
- Build repeatable visual systems for performance marketing, social content, and brand campaigns.
Concept & Execution:
- Drive the visual storytelling for both static and video ads, including AI-driven creative.
- Develop campaign ideas and art directions for brand.
- Work hands-on when needed to produce high-impact visuals for key projects.
- Use AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, Imagen, etc.) to speed up ideation and enhance creative output.
Collaboration & Delivery:
- Partner with marketing, content, and leadership teams to turn business objectives into compelling visuals.
- Manage workflow, delegate tasks, and ensure timely delivery in a fast-moving environment.
- Maintain consistency across all channels: social, YouTube, performance ads, print, and internal communication.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in design & advertising, with at least 12 years leading a team.
- Strong portfolio showcasing brand campaigns, social content, and video-first storytelling.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier/After Effects is a bonus).
- Hands-on proficiency with AI image/video tools.
- Solid understanding of motion design workflows and creative for performance marketing.
- Confident communication, direction-giving, and ability to push a team toward better thinking.
- Ability to handle chaos with grace and turn vague briefs into sharp creative outputs.
