Open Position: Art Director
Location: MISHO Studio, Mumbai
Job SummaryAs MISHO's Art Director, you will oversee the brand's creative direction across all visual touchpoints - from concept to execution. You'll collaborate closely with our founder, design, and marketing teams to craft compelling narratives that translate MISHO's aesthetic into high-impact campaigns, editorials, and digital assets. The ideal candidate combines strong conceptual thinking with hands-on design ability, a deep understanding of visual trends, and an instinct for luxury branding.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Direction
- Lead the visual development of campaigns, lookbooks, and digital content from ideation to final execution.
- Conceptualize and direct photoshoots, videos, and social content that align with brand vision.
- Maintain a cohesive brand language across all creative outputs product, packaging, and communications.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with the Founder and Creative Director to translate design vision into visual narratives.
- Manage and guide graphic designers, stylists, photographers, and editors to deliver Maison-level outputs.
- Oversee creative workflows, ensuring timely delivery and quality consistency.
Brand Strategy & Development
- Evolve the brand's visual identity while maintaining its architectural, minimalist DNA.
- Research trends in fashion, art, and design to keep MISHO's storytelling globally relevant.
- Partner with marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure campaigns perform aesthetically and commercially.
RequirementsExperience:
58 years in art direction, visual design, or brand creative roles within the fashion, jewellery, or luxury industry
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro).
- Strong understanding of photography, composition, lighting, and post-production workflows.
- Knowledge of motion design or video editing is a plus.
Creative & Conceptual Strength:
- An instinctive sense of visual storytelling and brand coherence.
- A refined eye for typography, layout, and image curation.
Leadership & Communication:
- Ability to direct and inspire creative teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate concepts effectively.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with fashion or luxury lifestyle brands.
- Understanding of social media aesthetics and emerging digital content formats.
- Background in fine arts, fashion communication, or design strategy.
