Art Director / Senior Concept Artist – Casual Mobile Games

About the Role

We are developing our second casual mobile game — a tile-match game with a decorator meta system — and are looking for an experienced Art Director / Senior Concept Artist to define and lead the game's visual direction.

The role will involve shaping the overall art style, developing concepts and visual references, and ensuring that the core tile-match gameplay and decorator meta feel cohesive and distinctive.

Responsibilities

* Define the overall art direction and visual identity of the game.

* Create concept art, mood boards, style frames and art guidelines.

* Establish the visual direction for the tile-match core gameplay.

* Develop the look and feel of the decorator meta, including rooms, environments, furniture and decorative elements.

* Guide 2D artists, UI artists and animators from concept through final production.

* Review artwork and maintain visual consistency and quality.

* Collaborate closely with game design, UI/UX and development teams.

* Ensure concepts are visually strong while remaining practical for mobile-game production.

Requirements

* Experience as an Art Director, Lead Artist or Senior Concept Artist in mobile gaming.

* Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, visual direction and polished game art.

* Experience in casual, puzzle, tile-match or decorator-style mobile games preferred.

* Strong understanding of environment design, props, colour, composition and casual-game visual language.

* Ability to communicate a clear visual vision and guide an art team effectively.

* Experience working on commercially shipped game titles.
