We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Analyst to support Corporate Finance Applications, specifically SAP Ariba and Oracle ERP (including AR modules). This role partners with application support and development teams to ensure quality assurance processes align with Visa's standards for both global initiatives and production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and support teams to design and implement QA strategies for SAP Ariba and Oracle ERP applications
- Create Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Data for enhancements, production defects, and new initiatives
- Execute manual and automated testing, ensuring full coverage of requirements and defect validation
- Design and develop QA automation scripts for web-based enterprise applications
- Participate in issue management and resolution, from defect identification to closure
- Understand and test REST/SOAP APIs and complex application integrations
- Promote QA process standardization through Visa's Test Management Methodology (TMM)
- Assist in generating QA metrics and status reports for leadership visibility
- Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams, vendors, and globally deployed staff
- Understand application dependencies and define QA environment/infrastructure needs
- Juggle multiple projects and deliverables under competing timelines and shifting priorities
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of QA experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- QA automation experience with web-based enterprise applications (on-prem & cloud)
- Experience with SAP Ariba and Oracle ERP (especially Accounts Receivable module)
- Hands-on experience testing REST and SOAP APIs
- Proficiency with QA and defect management tools: Client ALM, JIRA, etc.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience working in Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD) environments
- Familiarity with integration and interface testing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a complex, global environment
