Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Argon Welder role based in Vadodara/Ahmedabad. The Argon Welder will perform TIG/argon welding on a variety of materials and components according to engineering drawings, welding procedures, and quality standards. Daily tasks include preparing materials and joints, setting up welding equipment, selecting appropriate consumables, and performing precise welds on pipes, structures, and fabricated assemblies. The role involves inspecting and measuring completed welds, performing basic grinding and finishing, and documenting work as required. The Argon Welder will also follow safety protocols, maintain tools and equipment, coordinate with supervisors and fabricators, and support other workshop tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong TIG/Argon Welding skills with experience in precise, high-quality welds on different thicknesses and positions.
  • Hands-on experience with general Welding techniques, including Arc Welding and MIG Welding, as applicable to project requirements.
  • Practical understanding of Materials, including behavior under heat, joint preparation, and selection of compatible filler metals and gases.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, and welding symbols.
  • Working knowledge of welding safety standards, PPE use, and workshop safety practices.
  • Certification or vocational training in welding from a recognized institute is preferred.
  • Previous experience in EPC, fabrication, or industrial projects (oil & gas, process plants, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a team, follow instructions accurately, and meet quality and productivity targets.
