Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for an Ares Service Engineer for all Veterinary and Human Products at Sowar Private Limited. The Ares Service Engineer will install, commission, and configure diagnostic instruments for human and veterinary applications at customer sites. Responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and executing repairs to minimize instrument downtime. The role involves providing technical support and training to end users, documenting service activities, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. The engineer will also coordinate with the technical and sales teams to address customer feedback, support demonstrations, and contribute to continuous improvement of service quality.

Qualifications

Education:

·        Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field

Experience:

·        Freshers may apply

·        1–2 years of experience in service/sales of medical diagnostic equipment will be an added advantage

Technical Skills:

·        Basic engineering knowledge with strong learning capability

·        Hands-on troubleshooting skills preferred

Computer Skills:

·        Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications

Roles & Responsibilities

·        Attend and resolve service calls related to diagnostic analyzers

·        Carry out installations and provide end-user training

·        Perform preventive maintenance for under warranty and AMC/CMC customers

·        Promote and support sales of Human and Veterinary diagnostic products

·        Maintain proper documentation of service and sales activities

·        Ensure timely reporting and updates to the head office

Work Requirements

·        Travel: Extensive travel across Gujarat is mandatory, with occasional travel to other states as required in emergency situations.
