Role Overview
We are looking for an Area Service Manager to lead service operations across BLive's Bangalore hubs. The role will be responsible for fleet uptime, preventive maintenance, service efficiency, spare parts management, OEM coordination, and service team performance.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in EV two-wheeler service operations, workshop management, or fleet maintenance, with the ability to manage multiple hubs and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet & Service Operations
- Ensure high fleet uptime and minimum vehicle downtime across Bangalore hubs
- Monitor service turnaround times (TAT) and timely breakdown resolution
- Drive preventive maintenance and battery health management
- Ensure vehicle readiness and replacement for major breakdowns
2. Inventory & Vendor Management
- Manage spare parts availability across hubs
- Coordinate with OEMs and service partners for repairs, escalations, and warranty claims
- Monitor inventory consumption and optimize spare planning
- Ensure timely closure of insurance and warranty cases
3. Team Management & Governance
- Lead service executives, technicians, and hub service teams
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure SOP compliance
- Track vehicle downtime, repair closures, service TAT, and idle vehicles
- Share periodic service reports and improvement plans
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in EV service operations, automotive service, fleet maintenance, or workshop management
- Mandatory experiencein Electric Vehicle (2W) servicing and operations
- Experience managing service centers, workshops, or fleet service operations
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, battery systems, and service processes
- Experience managing service teams, multiple OEMs, and vendor relationships
- Strong problem-solving and execution capabilities
