ABOUT THE COMPANY

Australian Food Company brings premium Australian oats, grains, and plant-based nutrition products to consumers across India and international markets. This role sits within Ozbreak Foods — the group's dedicated B2B trade, distribution, and market expansion arm.

Since entering India in 2023, Ozbreak Foods has been steadily building distribution, wholesale, institutional, and channel-partner networks for premium Australian food products. We're now entering our next growth phase and expanding aggressively across South India.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for entrepreneurial Area Sales Managers who thrive on building markets from the ground up — opening new channels, developing distribution networks, and driving measurable growth.

This is a high-ownership, market-building role for professionals who want real responsibility and a front-row seat in scaling an emerging FMCG business across one of the world's most dynamic consumer markets.

This role is for builders, not caretakers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Channels: Modern Trade (MT) · General Trade (GT) · Institutional · HoReCa · Distribution Partners

•   Drive sales growth and profitability across assigned South India territories

•   Appoint, onboard, and manage distributors, super stockists, and channel partners

•   Expand retail coverage, market penetration, and outlet productivity

•   Build and strengthen relationships with modern trade buyers and key accounts

•   Identify new business opportunities across retail, institutional, foodservice, and wholesale channels

•   Collaborate with India and Australia leadership teams on market development initiatives

•   Ensure strong in-market execution, product visibility, and sales performance

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

•   5–10 years of FMCG sales, business development, or channel management experience

•   Proven track record managing distributors and trade channels across one or more South Indian states

•   Strong network across trade, distributor, retail, or key account ecosystems

•   Background in food, staples, breakfast foods, health foods, or related FMCG categories (preferred)

•   Exposure to MT, GT, Institutional, HoReCa, or franchise/distribution-led channels

•   Entrepreneurial mindset — you build things, you don't maintain them

•   South Indian language proficiency is an advantage
