Role Description The Area Sales Manager – Wound Care will manage sales operations and growth for wound care products within the assigned territory, focusing on customers in and around Delhi. This full-time, on-site role involves meeting healthcare professionals, hospitals, and distributors to promote and position the wound care portfolio, achieving sales targets and increasing market share. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing sales visits, conducting product demonstrations and presentations, negotiating orders, and ensuring timely supply and follow-up. The role also includes monitoring competitor activities, gathering market intelligence, providing feedback to marketing and product teams, and maintaining accurate sales reports and forecasts. The Area Sales Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, participate in medical conferences or workshops as needed, and ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.

  • Strong sales and business development abilities, including territory management, customer relationship building, and achievement of revenue targets.
  • Knowledge of wound care products and/or broader medical devices, with the ability to understand clinical applications and communicate product benefits to healthcare professionals.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the capacity to interact confidently with doctors, nurses, purchase teams, and distributors.
  • Solid organizational and planning skills, including route planning, reporting, data analysis, and use of basic digital tools (CRM, spreadsheets, email, presentations).
  • Ability to work independently in the field, demonstrate resilience, and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare sales environment.
  • Relevant experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales, preferably in wound care or related therapeutic areas.
  • Graduate degree in science, pharmacy, or business; an MBA or specialized qualification in healthcare or marketing is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area and maintain a customer-centric, ethical approach to sales.
