Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations within their designated region, drive revenue growth, develop and implement sales strategies, and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, managing and developing the sales team, and achieving set sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires close monitoring of market trends, collaboration with marketing teams, and providing regular sales performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in sales strategy development, lead generation, and customer acquisition
  • Strong relationship management, negotiation, and client servicing skills
  • Experience with market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and meeting sales targets
  • Effective leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a results-driven and proactive attitude
  • Familiarity with rural and semi-urban markets or prior experience in advertising/media sales is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is an added advantage
