COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Vishwakarma Agricultural Works is a 45-year-old farm implement manufacturer based in Mansa, Gujarat. We design and manufacture tractor-operated implements including MB Plough, Chisel Plough, Disc Plough, Disc Harrow, Cultivators, Land Leveller, Bund Former, and Hydraulic Reversible Ploughs.

All our implements are tested and certified by FRMTTI-approved testing centres, making our products eligible for government subsidy under various state schemes — a strong advantage in the field.

We have a well-established dealer network in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and are now expanding into Maharashtra.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Area Sales Manager — Maharashtra

Location: Western Maharashtra (field-based)

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹45,000 per month + attractive performance incentive (Up to 1 lac)

We are looking for a self-driven field sales professional to lead our Maharashtra expansion. This is a high-ownership role with direct reporting to senior management and significant earning potential through incentives.

Key responsibilities:

Appoint and develop a strong dealer network across assigned districts in Western Maharashtra.

Drive primary sales and monitor secondary offtake through the dealer network across kharif and rabi seasons.

Help dealers and farmers access government subsidy benefits on our certified implements by coordinating with local agriculture department offices.

Conduct field demonstrations and farmer-connect activities to build brand presence at the ground level.

Submit weekly market and competitor updates to management.

Details of territory, targets, product range, and incentive structure will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• 3 to 8 years in field sales in agri-implements, farm machinery, or agri-inputs

• Experience in dealer appointment and dealer network management in Maharashtra

• Existing contacts with agri-implement dealers in Western Maharashtra — this will be given strong preference

• Fluency in Marathi and Hindi

• Own two-wheeler, valid driving licence, willingness to travel daily

• Based in Western Maharashtra or ready to relocate immediately

Preferred:

• B.Sc. Agriculture or Diploma in Agricultural Engineering

• Knowledge of Maharashtra government subsidy schemes for farm machinery

• Prior experience with tractor-operated implements or tillage equipment
