Location: Nashik / Thane (Maharashtra) / Rewa (Madhya Pradesh)
Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager
Salary : ₹ 10 to 12 LPA (including 10% variable)

Position Overview
The company is seeking a dynamic and result-driven Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth, strengthen channel partnerships, and expand market presence within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in the tiles or building materials industry and demonstrate the ability to develop dealer networks, generate project business, and manage key influencers in the construction ecosystem.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Achieve assigned sales volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across retail, distribution, project, and institutional segments.
- Build a robust sales pipeline and convert opportunities into sustainable business.
- Drive market penetration and enhance brand presence within the assigned territory.
Channel Development & Management
- Appoint, develop, and manage dealers, distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
- Ensure optimum product availability, display, and visibility in the market.
- Drive secondary sales through effective dealer engagement and channel activation programs.
- Monitor channel partner performance and implement corrective measures where necessary.
Project & Influencer Management
- Develop strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, consultants, and government departments.
- Generate product specifications and secure project approvals.
- Track ongoing and upcoming construction projects to maximize business opportunities.
- Promote the company premium products portfolio among key influencers.
Team Management
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct regular market visits and performance reviews.
- Drive accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, market developments, and customer preferences.
- Identify opportunities for new products and market expansion.
- Prepare periodic sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence reports.
- Ensure timely reporting of sales performance and business activities.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Support implementation of annual sales and marketing plans.
- Organize dealer meets, architect interactions, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
- Strengthen brand visibility and market positioning in the assigned territory.
Desired Candidate Profile Educational Qualification
- Graduate. Master's Degree MBA preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Sales and Business Development within the Building Materials industry.
- Minimum 3–4 years of mandatory experience in the Tiles industry.
- Proven experience in channel sales, project sales, dealer development, and influencer management.
