We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented District In-charge to drive channel and retail sales, strengthen dealer relationships, and expand market share in the Malda district.

Position Summary

The District In-charge will be responsible for achieving sales targets through effective dealer and distributor management, market expansion, retail development, influencer engagement, and execution of sales and marketing initiatives. The role requires strong territory management skills and the ability to build sustainable relationships with channel partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve district sales targets.
  • Manage and develop dealer, distributor, retailer, and channel partner relationships.
  • Appoint new dealers and distributors to expand market coverage.
  • Increase retail penetration and strengthen market presence across the assigned territory.
  • Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
  • Execute sales promotion activities, dealer meets, retailer meets, mason meets, and influencer engagement programs.
  • Coordinate with distributors to ensure product availability, stock management, and timely order fulfilment.
  • Work closely with technical and marketing teams to support business development initiatives.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and maintain healthy receivables.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, market intelligence, and MIS.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through prompt service and relationship management.
  • Ensure effective implementation of company policies, pricing strategies, and sales programs.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in any discipline (Mandatory)
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing (Preferred)

Experience

  • 8–12 years of experience in Channel/Retail Sales.
  • Mandatory experience in Steel (TMT), Cement, Building Materials, Structural Steel, Construction Materials, or Allied Industries.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and developing channel networks.

Preferred Candidate Profile -

  • Strong knowledge of the Malda market and surrounding districts.
  • Existing relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, contractors, and influencers will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
