Introduction to the Division /Function

Our product portfolio includes Scientific Instruments enabling the design, characterization and lab-to-production scale of materials used throughout industry. The key business units within CAD are Field & Safety Instruments (FSI), Spectroscopy. Spectroscopy includes Molecular Spectroscopy (MOL), Bulk Elemental Analysis (BEA), Material Characterization (MC)

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the company sales and profit objectives within assigned territory (Telangana, Andhra Pradesh) and product portfolio of FSI (Field and Safety Instruments.) The focus is on technical/product-based customer requirements.
  • Achieve Area AOP in terms of Sales & Revenue, closely adhering to the principles and guidelines of the company.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, conduct trend analysis, and drive achievement.
  • Identify new key accounts and manage key opinion leaders.
  • Co-ordinate various sales programs to grow the installed base through customer dedication and relationships ensuring highest efficiency levels
  • Regularly visiting the customers and ensuring high level of support for their continued business
  • Provide comprehensive feedback on competition and competitor activities helping the marketing team to develop counter strategies
  • Assist sales head in appointing the area channel partners as per business needs
  • Ensure that the receivables are closely under control with respect to DSOs and ensuring that there are no overdue accounts
  • Provide timely information to all the functions ensuring smooth and effective business operations in the region and as a member of the Sales Management should give to overall performance of the Division.
  • Have very good knowledge on the applications of Pharma/ Bio pharma with key deliverables on analytical area.
  • Proficient in all Pharma companies operating in South holding key relations at the customer end.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Submit required reports and manage distributor accounts.

Success Profile

Education & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Analytical Chemistry, Scientific Instrumentation, Business Administration or similar field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel (50-75%).
  • Proficient in English, both oral and written.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven consistency, precision, and listening skills.
  • Desire to continuously improve and take on new responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage demanding and stressful situations.
  • Previous experience in a analytical instruments sales

Experience:

  • 8+ years of Sales Management experience, with at least 3 years sales experience in the handheld Raman and XRF in field especially to Pharma industry.
  • Exceptional good understanding of the applications of Pharma as industry
  • Must hold key relations in Pharma preferably southern region market.
  • The candidate must understand distribution, channel management, other key skill to handle distributors.
  • Experience in strategic change management and knowledge management.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
  • Proven ability to operate independently with initiative and good business judgment
