Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an Area Sales Manager/Senior Sales Executive. The chosen candidate will oversee and drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, meeting with clients to discuss product offerings and solutions, analyzing market trends, and preparing sales reports for management. Additional tasks may involve training and mentoring the sales team to ensure consistent performance improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills, including the ability to meet sales targets and establish new client relationships
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities
- Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficient in preparing sales reports, analyzing market trends, and formulating sales strategies
- Previous experience in the industrial, safety, or related sectors is an advantage
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience as an Area Sales Manager or Sales Executive is desirable
- Willingness to travel and adapt to a dynamic work environment
