About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive business growth within an assigned territory. The role involves building and managing a strong partner network, leading an on-the-ground sales team, and achieving business targets through effective execution and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own business targets and revenue for the assigned region.
- Drive loan sourcing, customer acquisition, and disbursement growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with:
- Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs)
- Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs)
- Wealth Advisors
- Channel Partners
- Brokers
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of Feet-on-Street (FOS) executives.
- Ensure partner productivity and consistent lead generation.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching.
- Resolve operational challenges and ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams for faster processing and customer service.
- Track key business metrics including leads, conversions, revenue, and AUM.
Required Skills
- 8–12 years of experience in NBFC, Lending, Wealth Management, or Financial Distribution.
- Strong network of MFDs, IFAs, brokers, and channel partners.
- Proven experience in achieving business targets.
- Team handling experience.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and execution capabilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
