About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive business growth and build a strong distribution network across Chennai. This is a business ownership role where you will be responsible for driving sourcing, partnerships, and loan disbursements while leading an on-ground sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own business targets for the assigned region, including sourcing, disbursements, AUM, and revenue.
  • Build, manage, and expand a network of Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs), Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), brokers, and other channel partners.
  • Drive partner onboarding, engagement, and productivity.
  • Lead and manage a team of Feet-on-Street (FOS) executives.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of business objectives.
  • Drive lead generation, conversions, and loan disbursements.
  • Build strong relationships with channel partners to maximize business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.
  • Resolve operational and business challenges to ensure consistent execution.

Required Experience:

  • 8–12 years of experience in NBFC, lending, financial services, or wealth distribution.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving business and sales targets.
  • Strong network with MFDs, IFAs, brokers, and channel partners in the Chennai market.
  • Experience managing field sales teams.
  • Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
