Role Description The Area Sales Manager role at Schoolknot is a full-time hybrid position based in Pimpri Chinchwad, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the individual will identify and develop new school partnerships, manage the sales pipeline, and conduct product demonstrations for school administrators and decision makers. Responsibilities include nurturing leads, negotiating contracts, and driving adoption of Schoolknot's communication, productive, and enterprise modules. The Area Sales Manager will also gather market feedback, collaborate with internal teams to refine offerings, prepare regular sales reports, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction through ongoing relationship management and post-implementation support.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or software solutions for educational institutions.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with comfort in engaging school leaders and stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand and explain digital platforms, including automation, analytics, and school management software modules.
  • Strong relationship-building and account management skills, with a customer-centric and consultative sales approach.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities, including territory planning and regular reporting of activities and results.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email and virtual meeting platforms).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Comfort with a hybrid work model, willingness to travel within the assigned area, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
