Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for an Area Sales Manager based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The role involves managing and driving the sales performance of a designated territory, building strong relationships with clients, and leading and mentoring a sales team. Responsibilities also include developing and executing sales strategies to achieve targets, maintaining market competitiveness, analyzing market trends, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Area Sales Manager will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to drive business growth and address customer needs effectively.

Qualifications
  • Sales and Business Development skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Strong leadership abilities, team management, and motivation skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills to build client relationships.
  • Strategic planning, market analysis, and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with financial products and banking services is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or equivalent field. MBA/PGDM is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly desirable.
  • Adaptability, organizational skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
