Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager to manage sales operations, dealer relationships, and team performance within the assigned territory in Chennai. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Banking Two-Wheeler Finance and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive sales for the assigned territory
- Lead and monitor a team of 1015 sales executives
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Expand and strengthen the dealer network
- Maintain strong relationships with dealers and showroom sales staff
- Ensure process compliance while sourcing and building the portfolio
- Monitor team productivity and provide field-level support
- Conduct regular showroom visits and market coverage
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth process flow
- Identify and report market trends and competitor activities
- Resolve concerns raised by dealers and the field sales team
- Clear and track PDD (Post Disbursement Documents)
- Coordinate with collections team to manage early delinquency
- Drive team performance as per direction from Regional Manager
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Banking Two-Wheeler Finance (Mandatory)
- Must be currently based in Chennai
- Strong experience in dealer/channel sales
- Team handling experience is mandatory
- Good communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Target-oriented with strong market knowledge
