Intro
We are hiring a Business Development Manager for a leading company in lighting segments dealing with premium products. The role involves driving business through Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, and Project Consultants across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh / Tamil Nadu & Kerala. Candidates with 5–7 years of experience in specification sales, architect sales, or project sales within premium building materials, luxury interiors, lighting, sanitary ware, surfaces, façade, or related industries - dealing with premium Products (Product Cost more than Rs 10000 per Unit) are encouraged to apply.
Location: Hyderabad / Chennai /Cochin
Experience: 5–7 Years
CTC: Up to ₹18 LPA
Travel: Travel across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh is mandatory.
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Preferred.
Ideal Candidate
- 5–7 years of experience in Architect Sales, Specification Sales, Project Sales, or Business Development.
- Strong relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, Consultants, and Premium Contractors.
- Experience selling premium building materials, architectural products, luxury interior products, sanitary ware, lighting, surfaces, façade products, flooring, glass solutions, doors/windows, or related products.
- Proven track record of generating specifications and project opportunities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh / Tamil Nadu & Kerala
- Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, PMCs, and key project influencers.
- Conduct product presentations, specification meetings, and design consultations.
- Identify and develop opportunities in luxury villas, bungalows, premium residential projects, luxury apartments, hospitality projects, premium commercial buildings, and luxury automobile showrooms.
- Generate demand by securing product specifications at the design stage.
- Map upcoming projects and distribute qualified opportunities to the dealer/channel partner network.
- Conduct regular market visits and maintain a strong influencer engagement program.
- Expand the company's architect and consultant network across the territory.
- Gather market intelligence and competitor insights.
