We are urgently hiring an experienced Area Sales Manager for the plywood industry. The candidate will be responsible for handling sales operations, dealer/distributor management, market expansion, and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the plywood, laminate, MDF, hardware, or building material industry with excellent market knowledge and dealer network in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand dealer and distributor network in the assigned territory
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Handle channel sales and market development activities
- Maintain strong relationships with dealers, architects, contractors, and retailers
- Conduct market surveys to identify new business opportunities
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
- Ensure timely collection of payments from clients
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order processing and dispatch
- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and market feedback
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5–6 years of sales experience in the plywood industry
- Strong understanding of channel sales and territory management
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Existing dealer/distributor network will be an added advantage.
- Ability to travel within the assigned area
- Target-oriented and self-motivated professional
