Area Sales Manager - Pharma : is responsible for driving sales, managing distributor and store operations, achieving business targets, and ensuring optimal inventory management within the assigned area. This role requires leadership skills to manage teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Achievement of Primary, Secondary, Collection & Offtake discussed, agreed and decided by the company
Achievement of Collection, DSO & Ageing targets
Achievement store on-store growth & ranking
Inventory management at the store(FIFO & New launches)
Achievement Category & New launches targets
Maintain stock cover of 35 to 45 days at distributors
Responsible for Sales Reports and other business reports as required from time to time like Stock & Sales reeport, OPEX, Daily sales, weekly sales, summary, Non BA channel productivity, closing stock etc.
Achieve NSO target shared by the company for Non BA Doors
Timely submission of distributor claim
Scope includes for Non BA Doors as per the target given by Reporting manager
Must maintain/ develop good relations with all key retailers & Distributors
Responsible for timely distribution and availability of stocks, offers and testers
Appointment of new distributors, counter and geography Expansion
Execution of all Marketing/ promotional activities
Timely Reporting of all market/ competition activities
Any other work as assigned by the company
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in sales
Experience in FMCG, Retail, or General Trade (non assist channel/Retail store) is preferred
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
Preferred Regional Experience (West Zone)
