Area Sales Manager to spearhead business growth and lead territory expansion across Patna and key regions in Bihar.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and execute market growth opportunities across Patna and neighboring territories. Direct efforts to increase test volumes, scale brand visibility, and hit monthly/quarterly revenue goals.
- Doctor & Hospital Relationship Management: Conduct structured, regular field visits to build and sustain high-value partnerships with Doctors, Specialists, Physicians, Clinics, and Medical Directors.
- Referral Network Expansion: Onboard and nurture relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, and standalone diagnostic facilities to maximize referral streams.
- Market Intelligence & Territory Mapping: Continually map the regional healthcare landscape, monitor competitor strategies, and analyze market trends to position our diagnostic portfolio effectively.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with laboratory operations to ensure excellent service delivery, precise turnaround times, and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and track the daily performance of field sales executives to ensure collective target achievement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of proven track record specifically within Diagnostic Lab Sales / Pathology Sales.
- Territory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Patna and wider Bihar healthcare ecosystems, with an established network of active medical professional contacts.
- Travel: High willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
- Key Competencies: High-impact negotiation, strategic territory planning, structured account management, and a metrics-driven approach to sales targets.
