Job Title : Area Sales Manager (Pathology & Lab)

Location: Patna, Bihar (on-site)

Work Expereince : 4+ years

Compensation: Up to 7 LPA (Based on experience)

As we expand our market footprint, we are seeking a dynamic, result-driven Area Sales Manager to spearhead business growth and lead territory expansion across Patna and key regions in Bihar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and execute market growth opportunities across Patna and neighboring territories. Direct efforts to increase test volumes, scale brand visibility, and hit monthly/quarterly revenue goals.
  • Doctor & Hospital Relationship Management: Conduct structured, regular field visits to build and sustain high-value partnerships with Doctors, Specialists, Physicians, Clinics, and Medical Directors.
  • Referral Network Expansion: Onboard and nurture relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, and standalone diagnostic facilities to maximize referral streams.
  • Market Intelligence & Territory Mapping: Continually map the regional healthcare landscape, monitor competitor strategies, and analyze market trends to position our diagnostic portfolio effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with laboratory operations to ensure excellent service delivery, precise turnaround times, and high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and track the daily performance of field sales executives to ensure collective target achievement.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of proven track record specifically within Diagnostic Lab Sales / Pathology Sales.
  • Territory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Patna and wider Bihar healthcare ecosystems, with an established network of active medical professional contacts.
  • Travel: High willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
  • Key Competencies: High-impact negotiation, strategic territory planning, structured account management, and a metrics-driven approach to sales targets.
