Role Overview:
The ASE General Trade (GT) is responsible for driving sales growth, market execution, and distribution excellence within the assigned geography. The role involves leading a team of Sales Officers (SOs), ensuring achievement of both primary and secondary sales targets, and maintaining strong trade relationships across the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 810 Sales Officers to achieve sales and distribution objectives.
- Sales Achievement: Ensure attainment of primary and secondary sales targets across the assigned geography.
- Market Execution: Drive flawless in-market execution including visibility, merchandising, and planogram adherence.
- Distribution Expansion: Strengthen market reach by enhancing numeric and weighted distribution.
- Collections & Hygiene: Maintain healthy sales and collection hygiene; ensure adherence to credit policies.
- Trade Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
- Data & Insights: Monitor sales trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
- Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reports on sales performance, market conditions, and team productivity.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 58 years of FMCG sales experience with at least 23 years in General Trade channel management.
- Proven experience in handling a team and managing distributors.
