Reporting To: Senior Area Manager
Travel Requirement: Extensive travel within Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and nearby markets
About the Role
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, dealer expansion, and market penetration for the Doors & Windows category across Chandigarh and nearby regions. The role requires strong channel sales experience, relationship management with dealers, fabricators, architects, builders and project customers, along with the ability to lead a field sales team to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of Sales Executives and Dealer Sales staff.
Prepare and monitor territory-wise sales plans.
Conduct market visits and assess team performance.
Train, coach, and mentor team members to enhance productivity.
Manage distributor/dealer relationships and resolve escalations.
Provide regular performance and sales reports to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Graduation (MBA preferred).
46 years of relevant experience, including 12 years in a managerial role.
Required Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Ability to interpret sales data and implement strategies.
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred candidates from the similar segment or industry
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Team target achievement and productivity.
Growth in territory coverage and dealer base.
Implementation of sales and promotional plans.
