JOB DESCRIPTION
The role will involve working closely with Architects, Engineers, Designers, Contractors and end-users to promote Lighting solutions in the outdoor & faade regions. With lighting controls gaining prominence, it will be necessary for the person to additionally understand the smart lighting concepts in order to make an effective pitch to the client. The position is an Individual Contributor role initially. Once there is enough momentum of work, there could be addition of another sales person to the team.
Following will be the responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development :
Developing and Implementing sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives
Sales Performance Analysis : Analyzing sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven decisions to improve results
SalesProcess Improvement: Continuously reviewing and optimizing the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This may involve identifying areas for improvement, implementing new sales tools or technologies, and streamlining workflows
Customer Relationship management: Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and stakeholders viz. architects, interior/lighting designers, PMCs to strengthen the company's market position and identify potential sales opportunities.
Market Research : Staying abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify potential business opportunities and anticipate challenges
Sales Reporting: Preparing regular sales reports and presentations for the sr management team, providing insights into sales performance and achieve overall business objectives
Sales Forecasting: Creating sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming product launches or promotions
