Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager based in Mumbai, overseeing accounts in Mumbai and Pune. Responsibilities include driving sales initiatives within the assigned territory, building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. The Area Sales Manager will liaise with clients to understand their requirements, prepare proposals, conduct negotiations, and ensure post-sales support and customer satisfaction. The role will also include market analysis, regular reporting, and collaboration with internal teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in Sales, Business Development, Client Acquisition, and Relationship Management
  • Strong understanding of Industrial IoT solutions, Condition Monitoring Systems, and Machine Maintenance Processes
  • Proficiency in Market Analysis, Competitive Research, and Strategic Planning
  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation Skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets in a competitive industry
  • Comfortable with regional travel to oversee accounts in both Maharashra and GOA
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Prior experience in solution-oriented sales in the manufacturing or technology sectors will be an added advantage
