Roles & Responsibilities – Area Sales Manager (ASM)
- Sales & Business Development
- Generate sales and achieve assigned sales targets for the company's products.
- Develop business through Doctors, Hospitals, Purchase Departments, Distributors, Stockists, Chemists, and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence within the assigned territory.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
- Distribution & Stock Management
- Establish and manage an efficient distribution network, including Sub-Distributors, Stockists, and Chemists.
- Monitor product availability and ensure smooth stock movement across the distribution channel.
- Coordinate product deliveries to hospitals, distributors, stockists, chemists, and customers.
- Prepare and submit monthly stock reports to the company.
- Monitor product expiry dates and notify the company at least six months in advance.
- Market Development & Customer Relationship Management
- Create awareness of Nuvvagen Bioscience's product portfolio in the assigned territory.
- Conduct market surveys and gather market intelligence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Doctors, Hospital Staff, Purchase Teams, Paramedical Staff, Distributors, and Stockists.
- Analyse customer needs and assess customer creditworthiness.
- Marketing & Promotional Activities
- Support and execute marketing strategies to drive business growth.
- Conduct market research and test marketing activities for new product introductions.
- Organise and participate in CME Programs, Educational Camps, Conferences, Congresses, Product Launches, and other promotional events.
- Promote the company's products and services effectively within the healthcare ecosystem.
- Team Management & Development
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train Medical Representatives and field staff.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance support to team members.
- Monitor and improve team productivity and effectiveness.
- Financial & Collection Management
- Manage billing activities related to hospitals, distributors, and customers.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
- Maintain records of collections, outstanding payments, and receivables.
- Submit monthly collection reports to management.
- Planning, Budgeting & Project Management
- Prepare action plans to achieve sales and business objectives.
- Plan, administer, and control budgets related to marketing activities, product launches, promotions, contracts, and client projects.
- Ensure optimal use of resources to maximise business profitability.
- Advise and support project teams in meeting client and business requirements.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, collections, payments, and customer interactions.
- Submit all reports, including Sales Reports, Stock Reports, Product Usage Reports, Collection Reports, and Expense Reports, in the prescribed company format and within stipulated timelines.
- Participate in audits and provide required documentation as and when required.
- Communicate all relevant market information, business updates, and territory developments promptly through approved channels (Email, WhatsApp, Phone, etc.).
- Policy Adherence
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, guidelines, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure ethical business practices and professional conduct at all times.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties, assignments, projects, or responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time in the interest of the organisation.
