Roles & Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for submitting monthly, half-yearly, and annual environmental performance reports to the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) in accordance with Consent For Operation (CFO) conditions.
- You will be responsible for submitting annual returns to the Department of Factories and ensuring timely compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
- You will be responsible for acquiring permit-to-work authorizations, responding to legal notices, and maintaining documentation to support regulatory compliance.
- You will be responsible for conducting job safety analyses, hazard identification, and risk assessments across departments to proactively manage workplace risks.
- You will be responsible for organizing periodic safety meetings, workshops, and mock drills to educate employees and contractors on SHE guidelines and emergency preparedness.
- You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safe operating procedures (SOPs), updating the OSHA 18001 manual, and facilitating SHE audits for internal and external stakeholders.
- You will be responsible for overseeing the collection, treatment, and disposal of wastewater and hazardous waste, ensuring compliance with Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) standards.
- You will be responsible for monitoring environmental parameters such as ambient air quality, stack emissions, wastewater, noise, and soil conditions, and initiating corrective and preventive actions to address anomalies.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Educational Qualification
- Graduation in Science (Chemistry) or Chemical, Industrial Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
- Diploma in Industrial Safety (Recognized by State/Central Pollution Control Boards) is mandatory.
Minimum Work Experience
- 3+ / 5+ years of experience with pharmaceutical/chemical/manufacturing industries.
