Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager - Medical Devices, based in Mumbai. The individual will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets, maintaining and growing relationships with healthcare clients, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting medical device products effectively. Responsibilities also include conducting product demonstrations, providing training to healthcare professionals, gathering market intelligence, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute sales strategies.

  • Candidates should have 4+ years of experience or above in medical devices
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with healthcare professionals and decision-makers
  • In-depth knowledge of medical devices and healthcare solutions, especially in areas such as Cardiovascular Surgery, Critical Care, or Interventional Cardiology
  • Effective communication, presentation, and training delivery skills to educate stakeholders on product usage
  • Ability to identify market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and develop strategic sales approaches
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or related field; an MBA or equivalent is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed and a valid driver's license
  • Prior experience in sales within the medical devices industry is highly preferred
