Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for an Area Sales Manager-Medical Devices based in Mumbai. The Area Sales Manager will lead and oversee sales operations across the assigned territory to achieve business targets. Responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships within the medical community, promoting the company's medical device offerings, managing a sales team, and ensuring excellent customer service. Additionally, this role will involve conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities, providing product training to clients, and preparing periodic sales forecasts and reports.
- Proven experience of 5+ yesrs in medical device sales and a strong understanding of healthcare and medical sciences
- Skills in sales strategy development, client relationship management, and market research
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for engaging with stakeholders and clients
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team towards achieving targets
- Proficiency in preparing sales reports, analyzing market trends, and creating actionable strategies
- Familiarity with the medical device industry in the Mumbai region is advantageous
- Willingness to travel for in-person client meetings and industry events, as required
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
