Role Overview
The Area Sales Manager Referral Sales is responsible for driving patient referrals and revenue growth by building and managing strong relationships with referring doctors, clinics, nursing homes, and healthcare partners. The role focuses on expanding the referral network, increasing specialty-wise business, and strengthening the hospital's presence in key catchment areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a strong referral network of doctors, clinics, and nursing homes to drive patient inflow.
- Drive specialty-wise referral growth (Cardio, Onco, Ortho, Neuro, etc.) in alignment with business targets.
- Regularly meet referring doctors and key stakeholders to build relationships and ensure engagement.
- Identify new markets, territories, and partners to expand referral base and business reach.
- Monitor referral trends, doctor contributions, and conversion ratios to drive revenue growth.
- Coordinate with internal teams (consultants, operations, patient care) to ensure seamless patient experience for referred cases.
- Plan and execute CME programs, health camps, and engagement activities for referring doctors.
- Track competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure timely follow-ups on referred patients and maintain strong relationship continuity.
- Prepare regular reports on referral performance, pipeline, and revenue contribution.
