Job Description
We are seeking high-energy, result-oriented Area Sales Managers across multiple locations to lead our primary and secondary distribution. The candidates will be responsible for managing a network of 15–20 Super Stockists and Large Traders, ensuring operational stability and financial health of their respective territories. Your primary objective is to work in the market to identify new channel partners/distributors and expand our brand footprint through primary sales and to further create a pull for the brand through driving secondary sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Channel Development (Primary Sales):
• Identify, on-board and manage relationships with distributors, Super Stockists and Large Traders.
• Ensure consistent primary billing and maintain optimal inventory levels at the stockist point.
• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving stockist issues related to logistics, claims, and accounts.
2. Market Expansion (Secondary Sales):
• Drive secondary sales from Super Stockists to the wholesale layer.
• Identify, pitch, and onboard new wholesale customers and large-scale traders to expand the network.
• Develop and execute monthly schemes and loyalty programs
3. Network Stability & Compliance:
• Monitor the financial health and market hygiene of the stockist layer (managing credit limits and timely payments).
4. Market Intelligence:
• Track competitor pricing, schemes, and distribution tactics in their respective territories
• Provide weekly reports on sales trends, stockist performance, and expansion progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: 5–8 years of experience in FMCG/Beverage sales, specifically in General Trade (GT) and Wholesale Management.
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
Skills: Strong negotiation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel for sales tracking, and a proven track record of meeting aggressive sales targets.
