Job Description

Job Summary**

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets for LAP (Loan Against Property) products within the Tirupati Home & Small Business (H&S) region. This role involves leading a sales team, developing new business, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed LAP sales targets for the Tirupati H&S region.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives, ensuring their continuous development and performance optimization.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including sourcing leads, conducting market research, and building a strong pipeline.
  • Manage and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with credit, operations, and other internal teams to streamline processes and ensure efficient loan disbursal.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Conduct regular field visits to support sales teams, meet key clients, and understand market dynamics.

Job Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role within the financial services industry, specifically with exposure to Loan Against Property (LAP).
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the financial market, LAP products, and credit processes.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the Tirupati H&S region.
