Job Summary**
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and market share growth for our Loan Against Property (LAP) products within the Ratlam Home & SME (H&S) region. This role involves leading a team, managing key relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed LAP sales targets for the Ratlam H&S area.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales executives, providing ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key channel partners, builders, real estate agents, and other business associates to generate leads and drive sales.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of market trends.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and client acquisition to loan sanctioning and disbursement, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines in all sales activities.
- Manage customer relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as credit, operations, and marketing to optimize sales processes and product offerings.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role within the financial services industry, specifically with exposure to Loan Against Property (LAP).
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Ratlam H&S market and its real estate landscape.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
