Area Sales Manager Innerwear (West/Kongu Tamil Nadu)

We are looking for a driven and field-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead and expand the market for our brands, Poomer (menswear) and Presta (womenswear), across West Tamil Nadu (Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem & surrounding areas).

This role involves managing distributors, increasing retail coverage, driving secondary sales, and building a strong field sales team. The candidate will work closely with retailers and distributors to ensure strong product presence and consistent market growth.

This is a field-intensive role requiring regular market visits and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales through existing distributors
• Increase retail coverage and onboard new shops
• Drive secondary sales (distributor to retail)
• Ensure proper product display and visibility in retail stores
• Strengthen relationships with distributors and retailers
• Focus on expanding Presta (womenswear) presence
• Hire, train and manage retail sales representatives
• Track market trends and competitor activities
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Candidate Requirements (IMPORTANT STRICT)

• Must have experience in garments / innerwear sales (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of the West Tamil Nadu market (Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem)
• Experience in handling distributors and retail garment networks
• Ability to build and manage a field sales team
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Tamil speaking is mandatory, basic English preferred

Candidates from a general FMCG background without garment/innerwear experience will not be considered
