The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and expanding market share for GE HealthCare's ultrasound portfolio in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States, and surrounding territories. The role involves working closely with KOL of the hospitals, Institutions and procurement entities to achieve business objectives.
Sales & Business Development
1. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for ultrasound products.
2. Identify new business opportunities in hospitals, and healthcare institutions.
3. Develop and execute territory sales plans to maximize revenue growth.
4. Promote premium and value ultrasound solutions across customer segments.
Customer Relationship Management
1. Build strong relationships with KOL, Radiologists, Procurement teams, and hospital administrators.
2. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and clinical discussions.
3. Ensure high customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
Channel & Market Management
1. Manage distributors/channel partners within the assigned territory.
2. Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
3. Increase market penetration and brand visibility in the region.
Sales Operations
1. Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and business reports.
2. Maintain CRM records and track customer interactions.
3. Coordinate with service, application, and finance teams for smooth order execution.
Product Knowledge & Training
1. Stay updated on ultrasound technology and healthcare industry developments.
2. Conduct training sessions for channel partners and customers when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical, or related field.
MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
Experience Required
5–10 years of medical equipment/device sales experience.
Prior experience in ultrasound/imaging sales preferred.
Strong network within hospitals and diagnostic centers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
