We are a leading Gold Buying Company specializing in the purchase of old and unused gold from customers through a transparent valuation process, instant payments, and superior customer service. We are looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to drive business growth across Chandigarh, Mohali, and Zirakpur branches.
Position Summary
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, customer acquisition, branch profitability, team productivity, local marketing initiatives, and overall business development across the assigned branches. The role requires strong leadership, sales management, and market development capabilities to achieve regional business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets for the assigned region.
- Drive customer footfalls and gold purchase volumes across all branches.
- Develop and execute local sales strategies to maximize revenue generation.
- Identify new business opportunities and expansion possibilities within the region.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Branch Performance Management
- Monitor daily branch performance and ensure target achievement.
- Review branch-wise productivity and implement corrective actions when required.
- Conduct regular branch visits to evaluate operations, customer service, and sales effectiveness.
- Ensure optimum utilization of leads generated through marketing campaigns.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, motivate, and mentor Branch Managers and sales teams.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide regular coaching.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and staffing across branches.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Foster a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
Marketing & Customer Acquisition
- Coordinate with the marketing team to execute local promotional campaigns.
- Develop partnerships with local businesses, associations, and influencers for customer acquisition.
- Monitor lead conversion performance and branch-wise follow-up effectiveness.
- Support digital marketing initiatives and local branding activities.
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure excellent customer experience across all branches.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 8 years of experience in Sales and Business Development
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing multiple locations/branches.
- Experience in retail, financial services, NBFC, banking, or consumer-facing businesses preferred.
