Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive business growth within the SME Banking segment. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in business loan sales, team management, and market development. This role involves leading a sales team, expanding the customer base, and achieving business targets through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve area sales targets.
Drive sales of Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), and Term Loan products.
Generate business through open market sourcing and client acquisition.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
Resolve customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve sales performance and business growth.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA or CA qualification will be an added advantage.
Minimum 2 years of experience in selling Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), and Term Loan products.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales or Marketing within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
Minimum 2 years of experience in managing a sales team.
Strong understanding of SME banking products and financial services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
