Role Description
This is a full-time onsite role for an Area Sales Manager - FMCG, based in Vadodara, Gujarat. The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations within the assigned territory, develop and implement sales strategies, and ensure that regional sales targets are achieved. Additional responsibilities include managing a team of sales representatives, maintaining relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and ensuring timely market feedback to drive business decisions. The manager will also focus on identifying new business opportunities and analyzing market trends to optimize business growth in the FMCG segment.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in sales management, business development, and achieving targets in the FMCG sector
- Strong expertise in customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to analyze market trends, develop sales strategies, and identify new business opportunities
- Team leadership, effective communication, and people management skills
- Working knowledge of commercial acumen and understanding of FMCG supply chain operations
- Proficiency in data analysis and using sales-related software or tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Familiarity with the Gujarat region and local market will be an added advantage
